Bluff Calling: Judge Smith Asks Obama Lawyer to Back up the President's Words

This is one of those, It's about time!, sorts of things.  On Monday the President insulted the Supreme Court Justices by strongly implying that "unelected" judges would be doing something "unprecedented" if they struck down a law (Obamacare) that Congress has passed.  Besides being an insult to SCOTUS, the President displayed once again his apparent ignorance of, or disdain for, the Constitution.  Of course Marbury v. Marshall is the 200 year-old case law and many laws have been stricken since for being unconstitutional.

So on Tuesday, Judge Jerry Smith of the Fifth Circuit instructed a DOJ lawyer to provide a "single-spaced, three page" letter detailing why the President might not have misspoken.  I can't wait to see the result.
