The other half of Ted is his laser-like focus on helping those American heroes who have sacrificed so much so that everyone here at home may keep their freedoms. Today here hosted a dozen veterans on stage, and with three wonderful organizations two of these families received new houses so that they may participate in the American dream.
The first was an airman from Vietnam, wounded long ago but for whom the VA classed him as only 10% disabled. He has being having a hard time of it for many years. The group Military Homes presented him with a home today. See: www.militaryhomes.org
The second was a young soldier wounded in an IED explosion in Falujah. He and his wife and 2 year old son now have a new house courtesy of Operation finally Home. And the promise of a good job. See: www.operationfinallyhome.org
